This photo was taken in the 1950s. It's of my grandpa, my grandmother and their kids. My mom is the little girl in front.
I ran into a traveling man yesterday in front of a local book store. He had a bike with a five gallon bucket strapped to each side for some makeshift saddlebags, a hikers backpack and an old beat up guitar. His name was Ed Walker from Tularosa and he was quite a street performer. I recorded him and will be airing that segment around the 29th of March. This was the men of our church years ago preparing the infield of a new ball park on church property. That's me tailing along behind them on my dad's bike. I ate a half a jar of these last night with some buttermilk ranch dressing. Good stuff but don't over do it! |
