A few weeks ago I gave a tribute to my Grandpa Gibson in the opening of my show. I talked about his love of God and the Ministry. I also talked about his love of family and especially his grandchildren. He would generously provide us grand kids with ample supplies of Chick-O-Sticks and ice cold bottles of Dr. Pepper. Particularly on late nights after working construction on a church building. He died a few years ago and grandma passed just about two short years later. I sure do miss them both! His favorite song was "When The Savior Reached Down For Me." |

I read the following this morning and it is way too good not to share :
"To judge a man by his weakest link or deed is like judging the power of the ocean by one wave." Elvis Presley Seth and I eating at the La Rosa restaurant in Tularosa. They have the best fried chicken and onion rings. Myself and Mike Durler hanging out in the broadcast studio of KHII 97-5 and KTMN 97-9. They both transmit from beautiful Cloudcroft. The studio is located in Alamogordo, NM about six miles north of Studio 312. I will be helping Mike produce a new show in the first of the new year.
For those of you who like to smoke foods, here is an excellent resource. http://www.deejayssmokepit.net/Downloads_files/Time-Temperature.pdf I highly recommend these. Easy to make with very little fuss or mess.
1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of sugar or substitute, (Really sweat - use less if you want) Listener Dawn O. recommends brown sugar. 1 egg. Mix and for into cookie balls, Bake at 350 degrees for about 11 minutes. |
